Why to set up in Morocco?

1 .LABOUR COST.

Marocco is a country with very low labour costs, in comparison with countries from the East of Europe, and even big differences do not exist in comparison with China. On the other hand, the inflation and the increases wage are moderated, unlike the inflationary pressures that are suffering the East countries of Europe and China:

2. OPENED ECONOMY AND IN GROWTH.

Morocco supports an oponed economy, with an average inflation in the last years of around 2% and an average growth of around 6%.

Unlike in others countries, in Morocco there is no obligation to have a local partner to do business or to be implanted.

Morocco has the signing of Free Trade agreements with Europe and the US  

3.  PROXIMITY TO EUROPE.

Morocco is only a 14 km to Europe.The goods could be in 24 hours in Spain and in 48 hours in France, opposite to 30 days that are needed to transport from China or India.

The costs of transport suppose a saving of 61 % opposite to China and even  44 % opposite to Egypt.


4. INFRASTRUCTURES.

Morocco has more than 1000 Km of Highways and 15.000 Km of roads, as well as 2.000 km of railway lines.

The two main ports of the country are the Casablanca Port and the new Tangier-Med Port. Tangier- Med is set to become the main port of the Mediterranean and the Southern Europe. In 2008 (its first year of operation) it has handled one million containers (more than Marseilles), and its target is to triple that figure.

When its extension is completed (Tangier- Med II), it will be able to handle an additional five million containers per year, adding up more than eight million containers between both.Kenitra is linked with the port by highway, the journey takes less than two hours.

The main Airports (Mohamed V, Rabat, Tangier, Fez y Marrakech) communicate the country with Europe and The United States, as well as with the rest of the world.


5. POLITICAL
STABILITY.

 

Morocco stands out for a long period of political stability and respect for the foreign investments, unlike countries of its environment of the South and Central America. In Morocco there are more than 600 Spanish companies, Spain being formed as the second foreign investor after France.

Morocco is stimulating a new generation of young and well- educated politicians who are stimulating firmly the development of the country.
