Last January the new industrial plant of the Japanese company Fujikura Automotive in Morocco was handed over. Atlantic Free Zone industrial park, in Kenitra, was the chosen location for their new automotive wiring manufacturing plant, which is already in operation.

Fujikura’s industrial plant at Atlantic Free Zone is located in the free zone of the park. It has a built area of 14,000 m2 on a plot of 21,000 m2. This new plant represents a total investment of 165 million dirhams (15 million euros approx.) and it is expected to create 1500 direct jobs in the area.

Now that this new project has become a reality, Fujikura have reinforced their presence in the North of Morocco, since they opened another wiring plant in Tangier in 2009.
