On 22 and 23 November the Automotive Meetings Tangier-Med were held in Tangier, organised by the Moroccan Association for the Automotive Industry and Commerce (AMICA). This 2-day event is the automotive business gathering for the Mediterranean region.
This year’s edition has brought together more than 150 companies of the automotive industry, which took part in the different presentations, round tables led by experts as well as in the high-quality B2B meetings.
There were outstanding participants, such as the Moroccan Minister of Industry, Commerce and New Technologies and the General Manager of Renault Maroc, as well as delegates from MedZ, AMDI, the Ministry of Labour and Professional Training, IFMIA or ANAPEC, among others.
The Moroccan Minister of Industry, Commerce and New Technologies, Mr. Abdelkader Amara gave a conference about the importance of Morocco as a pole for the automotive industry. Mr Mohssine Semmar, Director of Industrial and Logistics Projects at Medz, partner of Atlantic Free Zone, participated in the round table about Infrastructures and investment in the automotive industry.
Many companies visited Atlantic Free Zone’s stand to learn about the benefits of setting up their business and production plant in this industrial park.
