HANDOVER OF COFICAB INDUSTRIAL PLANT AT ATLANTIC FREE ZONE

Coficab industrial plant in AFZ

Last November the new industrial plant in Morocco of the Tunisian company Coficab was handed over. Coficab had already a manufacturing plant in Tanger, however Atlantic Free Zone industrial park, in Kenitra, was the chosen location for their new automotive wiring and electrical components manufacturing plant in Morocco, which is already in operation.

Coficab’s industrial plant at Atlantic Free Zone is located in the free zone of the park. It has a built area of more than 7,000 m2 on a plot of more than 11,000 m2. This new plant represents a total investment of approximately 43.5 million dirhams (3.8 million euros approx.) and it is expected to create 180 direct jobs in the area.

This new industrial plant in operation at Atlantic Free Zone joins, among others, the plant of the Japanese Fujikura Automotive or the Austrian Hirschmann, which were inaugurated in the course of 2012.
