Atlantic Free Zone participated on 29 May in the Business Forum Galicia-Morocco held in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. This Forum was organised by the Galician Institute of Economic Promotion (IGAPE), the Moroccan Export-Import Association (ASMEX) and the Galician Regional Government.
The main goal was to promote new business and alliances between companies from Galicia and Morocco, through B2B meetings, conferences and debates for exchange of experiences.
Seventy companies from Galicia and Morocco, Atlantic Free Zone amongst them, participated in the Forum and there were conferences by Mr. Francisco Conde López, Economy and Industry Counsellor of the Galicia Regional Government, Mr. Abdelfattah Levar, Economy Counsellor of the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, Mr. Hassam Sentissi, President of the Moroccan Export-Import Association, Mr. Ahmed Fassi Fihri, General Manager of the AMDI and Mr. Pedro Verdasco, Director of the Pexga Platform in Morocco.
Moroccois nowadays the ninth destination country of exportations from Galicia, with a business volume of 380 million euros and the tenth buyer of products and services from Galicia with a business volume of 345 million euros.
