ATLANTIC FREE ZONE SPONSORS THE 7th SPANISH-MOROCCAN INVESTMENT AND COOPERATION FORUM IN CASABLANCA

Atlantic Free Zone sponsored the 7th Spanish-Moroccan Investment and Cooperation Forum, held in Casablanca from 18 to 20 June. This Forum was organised by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and was inaugurated by His Royal Highness the Prince of Spain in the presence of Mr. José Manuel Soria, Spanish Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, Mr. Jaime García-Legaz, Spanish Secretary of State for Trade, and Mr. Abdelilah Benkirane, Moroccan Prime Minister.

They all spoke about the importance of going abroad for Spanish companies and highlighted the fact that Morocco is and will be a strategic partner for Spain in commercial and investment terms.

This Forum congregated 46 Spanish companies and 130 Moroccan companies from different sectors, which held numerous meetings about future investment and cooperation projects in Morocco.

Within this framework, there was a Seminar about Spanish investments in Morocco, with the participation of, among others, Mr. Bruno Fernández, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Casablanca and Mr Javier Navarro, representing Atlantic Free Zone, who spoke about the establishment of industrial units in Morocco and the advantages of the free zone.
