ATLANTIC FREE ZONE TOOK PART IN THE OPENING OF THE OFFICE OF THE MOROCCAN DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR INVESTMENT IN MADRID.

On Thursday 23 September, the Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies of Morocco, Ahmed Reda Chami, and the General Director of the Moroccan Development Agency for investment (AMDI), Fathallah Sijilmassim, opened officially the first international office of the Agency, created to attract foreign investments to Morocco.

The Minister Ahmed Reda Chami emphasizes about the most important benefits for investment in his country such as tax incentives, geopolitical and economic stability as well as highly qualified human resources at a very competitive cost.

Various entities and Spanish companies took part in the event, among them, Juan Marcos Fernandez Farrugia, Managing Director of EDONIA WORLD, responsible for the creation of the industrial park Atlantic Free Zone developed in the town of Kenitra, 40 km from Rabat. He stated that “this office is evidence to the importance of Europe in the industrial strategy of Morocco.”
