HANDOVER OF DELPHI’S INDUSTRIAL PLANT AT ATLANTIC FREE ZONE

Delphi's industrial plant at AFZ

On February the new industrial plant in Morocco of the American company Delphi was handed over. Delphi had already two manufacturing plants in Tanger; however Atlantic Free Zone industrial park, in Kenitra, was the chosen location for their new automotive components manufacturing plant in Morocco, which is already in operation.

Delphi’s industrial plant at Atlantic Free Zone is located in the free zone of the park. It has a built area of more than 25,500 m2 on a plot of more than 55,000 m2. This new plant is expected to create 3600 direct jobs in the area.

This new industrial plant in operation at Atlantic Free Zone joins the plant of the Japanese company Fujikura Automotive, the Austrian Hirschmann or the Tunisian Cofcab, all of them inaugurated in 2012.
