HANDOVER OF HIRSCHMANN INDUSTRIAL PLANT AT ATLANTIC FREE ZONE

This summer the new industrial plant in Morocco of the Austrian company Hirschmann Automotive was handed over. Atlantic Free Zone industrial park, in Kenitra, was the chosen location for their automotive wiring and electrical components manufacturing plant, which is already in operation.

Hirschmann’s industrial plant at Atlantic Free Zone is located in the free zone of the park. It has a built area of 13,000 m2 on a plot of 20,000 m2. This new plant represents a total investment of 125 million dirhams (11 million euros approx.) and it is expected to create 1200 direct jobs in the area.

This new industrial plant in operation at Atlantic Free Zone joins the plant of Fujikura Automotive which was inaugurated at the beginning of 2012.
